I'm an artist and designer living in Brooklyn. My work is inspired by nature, mapmaking, navigation and travel, real and imagined. 

 

I let the paint take the lead and uncover connections in layers opaque and transparent. These painting are mostly acrylic and water based oils on canvas and wood substrates. I also use collage, gold leaf and image transfer in the layers.
